A veneer is a thin shell made out of porcelain or composite material. They are custom made and cemented to the front side of the tooth.
Veneers can be used to treat dental conditions such as a slightly crooked tooth, discolored teeth, chipped teeth or even be used to close spaces in between the teeth.
What is the difference between Cosmetic Bonding and Veneer?
Bonding uses a tooth colored composite material to fix the shape and color of a tooth. Veneers are porcelain pieces that are attached outside the tooth. The benefit of veneers is that they have a stronger bond and they never discolour.
